Roy Cotton Memorial Trophy event

RCMT

Roy Cotton was a founder member of Leeds Petanque Club in 2006 with our Chairman, Nigel Clay.

The formation of Leeds PC has been directly responsible for the subsequent development of the clubs in Harrogate, Heckmondwike, Huddersfield, Mirfield and Thorner.

Roy sadly passed away in June 2106 and we have held an annual event in his memory at the Leeds club, on Glen Road in Headingley.

This year’s event will take place on Sunday September 8th from 11.00 am to approx. 2pm,

So, technically, it will be an option to the Club’s usual, Sunday morning session!

We appreciate that this is close to the WYC Final at the same venue, but we do hope members will be able support the event.

As well as the Trophy match there will be a barbeque and social play.

We need about 8-10 players for the Trophy match and the format will depend on the numbers available on both sides. So PLEASE get in tough with Charles Stewart if you are able to come, and want to play in the match. Also to be able to organise transport for those wanting a lift!

THANKS!
