Our melee champion on 3rd May at the Pierhead was Trevor. Well done !

Some terrain news

Oatlands terrain is currently in a very poor condition due to council vehicles parking there while working on the adjacent footpath. The council will be making good the surface, but for now our events scheduled for Oatlands are moved to the Pierhead.

For April, this means the Pierhead will host 2 events which would have been at Oatlands. All 4 pistes are booked for these events.

Wed 17 April 2pm – 4pm Coaching Session
Thu 25 April 2pm – 5pm WYL Harrogate v Heckmondwike

Thanks to Graham, Sandra and several volunteers, we now have fresh gravel at the Pierhead, and playing conditions are very much improved now.

Our April melee took place at the Pierhead on Friday 5th April.

This month’s winner was David C with an unbeatable 3 out of 3.

Our latest melee was on 2nd February at Oatlands.

We had 12 competitors, and our champion was Alan. Well done.

Brenda is our first melee champion of 2024 in a close competition at Oatlands on 5th January, congratulations.

Our next melee will be held at Oatlands Terrain on Fri 5 January, starting at 12 noon.

Please bring something to share if you want lunch, hot drinks will be available in the clubhouse.

Our Christmas meal took place at the newly refurbished Harrogate Inn on 10 December.

A great time was had by all.

Our latest Melee took place at Oatlands on 1st December, the first melee there since our opening melee in May.

We had a good turnout on a freezing cold day, but at least we were able to use the clubhouse to warm up with food and a warm drink.

Tony and Mike were tied at the end, and Mike won the shootout.

There’s a change to the date and venue of the December Melee.

Friday 1st December 12 noon at Oatlands.
